STAROIL, the leading private operator in Tunisia in oil distribution, has announced that it is now the official representative in Tunisia of the TEXACO lubricant brand of the CHEVRON group, one of the world leaders in the oil and lubricants industry, through its subsidiary Afriquia Lubrifiants Maroc. "It is an honor for us to represent in Tunisia this Premium brand whose global reputation is well established given the reliability of its products," said Ibrahim Aymen Ben Meskina, Deputy General Manager of STAROIL, during a ceremony held today in Gammarth in the presence of CHEVRON representatives. The General Manager of Afriquia Lubrifiants Maroc, Mostapha Miri, indicated for his part: "This is a strategic partnership for both parties who aim to support the Tunisian market in its various forms (industry, transport, construction, marine, dealers and end customers) by offering optimal lubrication solutions that take into account technological advances. Through this partnership, STAROIL will market in Tunisia a whole series of high-performance lubricants from the TEXACO brand: a range of engine oils for light vehicles under the name TEXACO Havoline, a range of TEXACO Delo products that are designed for on-road and off-road applications, ranging from heavy-duty vehicles to buses and a wide industrial and marine range. It will also be a portfolio of maintenance products and greases. TEXACO products meet the latest environmental protection requirements, aimed at reducing pollutant emissions. They are now available exclusively at STAROIL service stations and its authorized dealers and distributors.
